You could feel the excitement. China has been building up for the Olympics for years and now that it had finally arrived, we wanted to share the experience with each other. We were not disappointed. The opening ceremony was spectacular. We knew that movie director Zhang Yimou would not let us down, but we didn’t expect it to be so great. We feel he did an excellent job in sharing our history and culture with the rest of the world in a very
exciting and vibrant way.

We all sat together eating fruit, watching the ceremonies, and enjoying each other’s company. It is really nice to spend time with each other after work, relax and let our hair down. Several employees brought their children and they had fun running around playing with all of their “aunts” and “uncles”, and of course eating watermelon. It was a really wonderful experience and one we will never forget.
